Review: ZuneOne's Leather Case for Zune 80GB
ZuneOne is about to release a set of cases for Zune 80GB and 4/8GB players. We got a sampling of them recently, including this leather case for the Zune 80GB. Read on for our review.
Packaging. The case comes in a simple generic-labelled plastic bag. Inside you get the tri-folding leather case with sewn-in belt clip and screen shield.
Features. Your 80GB player slides sideways into a holding frame of firm leather. The case then wraps around the player, securing itself closed with embedded magnets.
The top allows access to the headphone jack and the hold switch, while the sync port is easily accessed from bottom of the case.
When the cover open, the case allows direct access to the exposed Back and Play/Pause buttons, as well as the touch pad. A sewn-in plastic protector covers the screen.
The partially-opened case makes its own easel - good for hands-free viewing of video.
The leather belt clip is sewn in. Stitching is a little ragged in the sample we received.
It's a uniquely-designed leather case, and it's good to see ZuneOne adding to the line-up of cases available for your Zune 80GB player.
