Review: Speck's Active Sport Case for Zune
In today's photo review we take a look at Speck's Active Sport case for Zune. This heavy-duty sports armband is a worthy addition to Speck's line-up of "spirited cases".
Packaging. The Active Sport is boxed in Speck's attractive packaging shown below.
Features and Performance. This is a beefy, well-made armband, with a wide wrap-around strap and considerable cushioning for your player. The interior of the case babies your player with a layer of velvet-soft material.
A generous band of Velcro keeps the armband secure. The armband is made of breathable mesh, and fits arms 12" to 18" around.
The back of the case is made of breathable mesh material, which helps to keep the case cool against your forearm. A pouch is provided to tuck a key, some bills, your ID, or a hotel keycard - a useful feature that we wish more armbands included.
The armband leaves the top of the player accessible, for access to the headphone jack and hold switch. An opening is provided in the bottom of the case for your sync cable.
The control pad, back button, and play/pause button are accessed through an opening in the front of the case.
Good screen protection is provided by a clear plastic guard stitched into the canvas.
