Review: Maximo iMetal iM-290 earphones
Maximo's iMetal iM-290s are lightweight metal-alloy earphones offering impressive sound in an attractive package. Coming with thoughtful extras like an extension cable, adapters, and carrying pouch, we're giving this our Recommended by Zunerama rating.
Packaging. The iM-290 packaging is shown below.
Inside, the earphones are accompanied by a soft carrying pouch, two-foot extension cable, airline adapter, 2.5mm plug adapter, and an information sheet.
So how do they sound? I've used the iM-290s for the past few weeks and am pleased with both their performance and their comfort. Some additional specs: the earphone drivers are 15mm neodymium, with frequency response of 18Hz-22KHz. Maximum output exceeds 120dB. If you're looking for an upgrade to your stock earphones, the iM-290 is a worthy alternative.
