Review: Incipio's Wallet Case for Zune 8GB/4GB
Incipio recently released its leather wallet case for Zune 4GB and 8GB players. Read on for Zunerama's photo review.
Packaging. The Wallet is boxed in Incipio's packaging shown below.
With its good-quality leather exterior and soft suede interior, the case provides attractive cushioning for the Zune 4GB and 8GB models. The stitching is even and tight.
The top of the player is fully exposed for access to the hold switch and the lanyard slot.
Sync cable and headphone jack can be inserted easily from the bottom of the case.
Inside, a clear shield protects the screen.
The cover closes from the right and secures itself with a magnetic strap that wraps around from the rear of the case. I personally prefer a left-opening case - I find that the opened cover can interfere a bit with my right-handed button operation. Southpaws may prefer this style, though.
The inside of the cover has a thin pocket, not quite big enough for my business card but useful for stuffing a bill or two, or an owner identifier of some sort.
An opening below the screen shield provides direct access to the touch pad and the player's Back and Play/Pause buttons.
Here's what our pink sample looks like with the red and pink Zune 8GB players.
Backed by Incipio's lifetime warranty, this colorful case is well-built, attractive, and deserving of our Recommended by Zunerama rating.
