Photo/Video Review: Griffin Vizor case for Zune
Griffin offers a welcome addition to the Zune world's line-up of leather cases. The Griffin Vizor is a flip-top case made of supple leather - quite pleasing to the hand.
The case comes in either black or a bright fuschia. Read on for a video and photo review of the Griffin Vizor.
Zunerama Video Review (01:22)
Packaging. Griffin gets high marks for box design. It's simple and attractive, and you can actually get the case out without the need for scissors or a box knife. (Among my pet peeves are the sealed plastic packages that make it a struggle to get at the product you just bought!)
Features and Performance. The 360-degree views below show the case's basic construction. The Vizor is a flip-style case, with magnetic fasteners (concealed in the flip-top) holding the top closed. The reverse side has a sturdy built-in belt clip.
The interior's soft velvety material provides a nice buffer of cushion to protect your player. The case has a sewn-in clear plastic screen protector. Buttons and control pad are accessed through cutouts in the leather. As our video review demonstrates, the case doesn't noticeably impede button or control pad operation.
An opening is provided for the headphone jack, leaving enough room for all but the bulkiest headphone connectors.
At the bottom of the case, a cut-out allows access for your sync cable.
