Wanted to pass on a cool website I’ve recently come across – TestFreaks.com. This site is one of the better ones I’ve found for pulling together gobs of information about consumer electronics products.

Pick a product – a digicam, printer, cellphone, or Zune, for example – and TestFreaks delivers a collection of user and professional reviews, pricing, manufacturer specs, manuals, and videos. TestFreaks also serves up any pertinent posts from its blog and user forum.

A search on Zune, for example, brings up 49 expert reviews, 517 user reviews, and 35 forum threads – pulled from 121 sources in 27 countries.

It also brings up a store locator (pictured above), which shows locations and prices for buying Zunes. Very cool.

The guys behind TestFreaks are the real deal – they are also the founders of PriceRunner, a price-comparison engine which was acquired by ValueClick.

Definitely worth a bookmark, for the next time you need to track down info about any consumer electronics product.
