From our Zune blog:

Zune tips: What we learned from Week 1

In the two days since Zune's 2nd-generation player launched, over 28,000 people visited Zunerama's user forums.

Those Zune owners shared their raves, rants, and a whole lot of tips from their experiences with the new Zune players and software.

We've pulled those tips into a Zune Tips page, for the benefit of all Zuners. Thanks to Zunerama's forum members for taking the time to share their findings, tips, and hints!

Got a tip of your own? Share it with other Zuners here!

If you live in Europe or any other country in the world where the zune isn't already released, you can't sign up for the social in Internet Explorer. You always get the message: "Not Available in Your Region" or something like that. But if you use Opera as webbrowser to sign up, there is no problem...
After you signed up, you can sign in from Internet Explorer as well.

This one keeps getting buried in General Discussions, but I'm sure many would find it useful. Here's the threads url:

and the text from there:

Earlier I posted about looking for this solution and now I have it thanks to CeeCee06 over at the Zune.net forum:

I did the following and the book showed up as a podcast and was bookmarkable:

1. tagged the book with the genre podcast

2. dragged and dropped the files into the music collection

3. the book showed up in the podcast section as a podcast

4. synced to the zune and it was bookmarkable but was listed in reverse order

5. the catch is that if you delete the book from the software it also deletes it off of the harddrive.

If there was an ability to make playlist out of podcast this would be a usable solution.

I tried it and it worked, though I am still working to make it list them accurately. They are out of order, currently. Let me know how it works for you!
