tag editing
« on: November 14, 2007, 01:57:49 PM »

The new Zune software basically sucks.  I much preferred the functionality of the "original" verson.
I want to be able to edit music track tags and album art manually. It was easy to "create" an "album" under the old version.  It seems you can't really tie every track in an "album" to that album any longer.

The interface is awful.  Can't really keep track of playlists, can't put "sync" lists into a holding pattern first.  I could go on.

Whoever came up with this piece of crap ought to be taken out into the woods and shot!

I totally agree.  I can't figure out how to do what should be the most simplest of tasks!

Are there any alternative pieces of software that someone has written on their own that we can use instead of this crap?

And on that note, I still actually prefer to use MP3Tag even though the zune 2.5 software is out.  It can embed the album art directly into the tags, which the zune SW (nor WMP) will do.  It's sad, but MP3Tag is still the best way to tag the metadata.

Is there an easy guide to using MP3Tag?
