New Zune Display at Target.
« on: October 18, 2007, 01:56:07 PM »

The new Zune display at Target. The interactive Zune 30 is gone. All devices are 1/4 inch pieces of plastic with a slightly raised Zune pad and a sticker for the display. You really get no feel for the device, just the look. Hopefully these are temporary until the new units come in.

Anyone else seen these or any different Zune displays?

If they sell it beforehand I wonder if they will work (probably not) with the old Zune software.

Nice to see the Zune 30 still there (even though for now it is cardboard).

Edit: Not sure how I missed the pic the first time. Grin

I saw the same display and got a few pics of it.  They're on my cell, so not the best...maybe I'll post them later.  I also got a pretty cool fold up "brochure" about Zunes.  Check the pics out.  They had them in the flash player colors, I had to go with the green.   Grin

Notice for the 80 it shows "Battery (music): Up to 20 hours (wireless off)", not 30 like the most recent reports.  Not sure what that's all about.  If there's any part you'd like to see better, or know what it says let me know.  I'll type it or get a pic if I can.

Thanks. I need to go to Target. And the Zune 30s are in the brochure too! (sorry but I like my Zune 30 Wink)

I thought I read that the Zune 4/8 were going to have plastic screens?

Yeah they're all there 4/8/30/80.

Here was the full display at my local Target.

Strange that both the Zune 4, Zune 8 and Zune 80 hold 25,000 pictures... Is that a software (database) maximum?

Don't get me wrong, I haven't taken 25,000 photos worthy of being placed on a portable device in my life.

But someone who's into porntraits.... They may want that kind of storage.
