This is a book about a square that lives in a two dimensional world.  In his journeys, he passes through a one dimensional world, and a three dimensional being passes through his world.  The square struggles to understand and believe the concept of three dimensions much in the same way the line struggled to understand two dimensions.

If you like books that expand your mind, check this out.

If you are sensitive to political correctness, this isn't the book for you, because it was written in the 1890s by a middle to upper class type of person.  However, some of the small currently offensive things are insignificant in comparison to the real content of the book.
