Error Code: C00D0FF5.  i am signed in when this pops up. i bought the first generation zune and then upgraded the sofware when it told me to and now i cant listen to explicit content like i used to. got anything for this?

Great Job, but I still need help! First, thought I'd let you know that the http://zunefaq.net/zune-faq/zune_software/how_to_add_music_from_the_itunes_library_to_the_zune_library-t37.0.html link is a dead link. Second, I purchased the izune which had me download Ares software. I have the songs in the Ares library but can't get them to the zune. I have tried everything I can think of and have read lots of info. Please help!!!

How about a little Microsoft program that would erase the tags from the Zune software?

It was great to use after severe modifications on my library tags.  However, i deleted it at some point.

I am almost sure I got it from here, though I don't remember where at... (the forums are sooo big)

My wife gave me a Zune80 for my birthday and it came preloaded with a bunch of songs, video, and pictures that I would like to erase but cannot figure out how.  I cannot get these to appear on my couputer when the Zune is connected, but it is probbably just that I don't know how.  I called some help group and spoke with a guy that told me I should be able to see them in Marketplace, but all I see there is stuff for me to download an purchase.  He said that since I can't view the files, there is something wrong with my device.  I think he's full of crap; there's nothing wrong with my Zune which otherwise works fine.  Where am I going wrong?

Hi, I´m up the creek with no paddle. Bought the Zune 120 last autumn in the hope it would work in Sweden, where I live. It did not. This autumn I tried again and downloaded a new version of the software and suddenly it worked. I have spent months organising and editing my content and all was well until before Christmas. My computer with Windows XP broke down (the screen). I bought a new computer with Windows 7. I downloaded the Zune Software and tried to plug in the Zune 120. It would not have it (I was unaware it would only sync with the host computer). I plugged it back into the old computer, asked it to "Forget this device" and I cleared it of all content. I tried again on the new computer, but still no luck. The new computer says that it is unable to update the device.

Thereafter I have scanned all possible websites and I have tried to reboot and to initialize disc. Now the device is in stage 2 after initialize disc, it says to plug it in to the computer for update of the program files and software. When I do, Zune says it cannot. I have also tried on the old computer, but it is the same reply. When I search for updates of the Zune software with no device plugged in, it says my software is up to date.

I really like the Zune functionality and would hate to have to switch to Ipod. But I'm out of options. Since Zune is not marketed in Sweden or Scandinavia (yet?), Microsoft in Sweden has no interest (and possibly also lacks the skills).

Any ideas? It would be greatly appreciated.

Probably need a few more details, although it looks like this is a motherboard problem.  here is a repost that is actually pretty good info.
