Personally I don't like that style of earphones(i.e. premium set) but it does look nice.  And yikes $100 for them.  But from the sounds(read?) of it they are worth the money.  Thanks for the review.

Geez......
Just bought the Zune high end buds................. Huh
Now I have to convince the wife that to make the Zune experience better we need these buds.
What Iam looking for is a middle of the road dockable home sound system.
As far as I can tell there are 2 out there.
One is pretty cheap, the other pretty spendy.
Sure I can listen off of my computer (which has a pretty good sound system) but when I have folks over it would be really cool to stick my Zune into a sound system and play a couple of lists.
Anyway thanks for the post, something else to add to my list of Zune gear to get.

$100 isn't all that much for headphones. My soon to be ATH A900 are around $200. But to a lot of people that good of sound quality isn't worth the money, to me it is.

Same here. I'm not that much a music aficionado to pay more. These look awesome but the price tag would have me thinking. I'm sticking with my Zune Premiums for now...

it shouldn't be to bad if you look at it like you're buying the style as opposed to the sound.  Wink

$100 is just scratching the surface. The Shure E500's are close to $500.
I paid $250 for my Shure E3c's.

The "audiophile" consensus is that the Vibes are The "BOSE" of IEM's:

Overated and overhyped.
They may look cool, but they do not stand up to others soundwise.

The Sony Fontopia sound better at 1/2 the price IMO.

But they do look cool, I'll give them that.

Besides......if YOU like them then who bloody cares what some wanker audiophile thinks, eh??

Sony Fontopia  are less than half the price. But thats not the point, IMO you can buy much better IEM's for the same or less price. If it sounds good to you though who cares what everybody else thinks.

of course. like i said before, if this is what you want, it's probably going to be more about looks than sound quality.
