16:9 videos on a Zune: The Tutorial.(somewhat image heavy)
« on: February 19, 2007, 07:22:16 PM »

Ok last time I only said I know how to, now I'm gonna show you how to get them to 16:9 widescreen.

Step One:Open up your video converter of choice.  (Note: you can download Cucusoft here. - Ed.)

Step Two:Open your conversion settings (this vary from converter to converter, some converters you don't even have these options)
Now this is where we need to pay attention. Before converting your video, instead of using the Zune's recommended resolution of 320x240, don't do that, change the resolution to 320x180 (look at picture below)

Step 3:Convert your video.

When it's all said and done sync it with your Zune software.

Step 4: Enjoy your widescreen display!(sorry, I dont have a digital  Embarrassed )

Also, something I noticed; after I installed Tunebit, it also installed high speed dubbing drivers that work with most conversion programs to convert videos/music faster.

Is it possible to get it stickied cause it's a common topic here?

No in fact cause of the video resolution, the size is smaller and quality is better for the Zune's display.
