If you want a very straightforward program to rip movies from DVDs and convert other video files you may have, so that they can play on your Zune, I'd recommend one of the paid programs - like Cucusoft (which I use), Avex (which I've heard is good but haven't used), and M2Convert (which I've also used). There are free ones but you'll have to carefully configure them in order for them to work with you. It's up to you, but if you want a quick-and-easy method, go with one of the ones like Cucusoft. Links are in the leading post of this thread.

I think this is a double-post.
You have to buy the product in order to remove the watermark.

I've tried about 7 or 8 different converters and I have finally settled on the one I feel is the Best "AVS Video Converter". We all know Zune recognizes MPEG4 and WMV formats. However, if it takes 30 minutes to convert a file to MPEG4 and when you sync it to your device it has to convert again and generally takes another 30 minutes; same with certain WMV file converts. Now I can't explain why but when I convert with AVS and then sync it to the Zune it "DOES NOT" have to convert a second time. Which means I save that 30 minute re-convert time! Not to mention its easy to use and produces top quality videos.

I have the Cucucsoft program! It works very well! The only thing I don't like is the that the finished copy of the movie says "trial version" in the middle of the screen. But I'm going to buy the software program soon! I already collected all the movies I wanted to download from my DVD collection! So I'm already ready to copy them!

Listen guys,
I am new here and I don't want to ruffle any feathers, but I really must comment. I want to buy the Avex software. But it's a download, not a cd. I would prefer to go to the store and buy my software. Why? Because if my download goes awry, I am hosed. Oh, but wait! If I pay an additional 7 bucks, I can get a one year insurance on my download. Uh, excuse me? I should not have to pay to re-download something I already paid for. Oh, sure, you can get a cd sent to you for an additional 13 bucks. What? C'mon, people. I am trying to support software that I use, but when they make it blatantly obvious that their price structure is retarded, I have to ask why not use a hacked version for free? When I can get what I want, I spend the money, and LOTs of it. How about someone getting real with their software selling structure?
