Democrat, Republican delegates receive custom Zune players
August 26, 2008 | by Harvey Chute
Delegates to the Democrat national convention in Denver received a special-edition 4GB Zune player, shown above. And, in the upcoming Republican national convention in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, GOP delegates will get their own.
Both players come with a small placard noting Microsoft's commitment to "environment responsibility".
Democrats got a green one, while Republicans got a red player.
An interesting promotion, although it's getting mixed reviews in our forums. Who knew, though, that gift bags are given out to delegates at these conventions?
