Much-anticipated parcel arrives at Zunerama's doorstep
by Harvey Chute
Let's just say that, after opening the above package, my windows are rattling, and my wife has fled to go have coffee with friends. (Poor thing, she has a low tolerance for high decibels.)
Here's what's inside.

Subscribe to Zunerama
by Harvey Chute
Did you know that hundreds of Zunerama visitors subscribe to our RSS feed? It's an easy way to keep track of updates to our blog and forum.
Subscribing is easy! Here's how:
1. Open up an RSS Reader. (I like browser-based readers, like Google Reader.)
2. Add the RSS feed for Zunerama's blog.
In Google Reader, you do this by clicking on "Add subscription". Then search for Zunerama, or copy/paste http://www.zunerama.com/feed.xml into the search box.
3. That's it! Now whenever you open Google Reader, it'll list the latest Zunerama blog entries.
You can also subscribe to our forum feed, which lists the latest forum posts. The URL for that feed is http://zunerama.com/forum/index.php?type=rss;action=.xml.

Zune car projects
by Harvey Chute
Been to our Zune photo gallery lately?
Two Zunerama members have posted pictures of their Zune car installations.
The first pic above is bugeyed's prototype Zune 80 cup-holder mount, made from PVC mounted to an old iPAQ case, and inserted into a foam drink-holder.
The Zune is attached to his stereo's AUX-in, and rests on a non-slip silicone pad.
Meanwhile, pixelsyndicate installed an AUX input adapter kit in his glovebox. Now he can connect his Zune (cradled in a Belkin TuneBase) directly into his car's stereo system.

Evil twin geniuses break into Zune Marketplace
by Harvey Chute
Microsoft was stunned by news today that a pair of ten-year-old twins had broken into its online store, Zune Marketplace, and downloaded tens of thousands of tracks of music.
Home security camera footage reveals that the downloading had been going on undetected for several weeks. The caper was uncovered when the pair's father investigated an unexplained lack of hard drive space on the family PC.
Under intense interrogation, the duo confessed, citing an obsession with Dan Zanes and Shrek soundtracks.
The perpetrators are now serving time, scratching out chalk lines on the family blackboard: "I will show proper respect to Digital Rights Management at all times."
Microsoft refused to comment, although in off-the-record remarks a spokesman stated, "You never know where the bad ones will turn up. The sad thing is, they could have had a Zune Pass for fifteen bucks a month."
More on this story as it breaks.

MVP Summit countdown: Share your thoughts on Zune player hardware
by Harvey Chute
As the MVP global summit nears - it starts April 14 - I'm gathering our community's thoughts on different aspects of Zune. I want to fittingly represent you as I interact with the Zune team on Microsoft's campus and in the convention center.
To help organize myself, I'm collecting comments in eight Zune-related categories... starting with the Zune device hardware itself.
So, from your lips (or keyboard, as it were), to Microsoft's ears... prepare to represent.
