Zune Marketplace down starting Monday
Up to 48 hours of downtime is scheduled for Zune Marketplace, starting Monday at 12:01am Pacific time. Zune Social and the Zune.net forums will also be unavailable.
Presumably this is to upgrade the Zune servers that have been struggling to keep up with increased demand since Zune 3.0 was released ten days ago. We’ve noticed – and Microsoft has confirmed – that updates to play counts and other Zune Card info has been lagging.
It could be a long outage, so I’d recommend getting your new music downloaded and your podcasts refreshed over the weekend.
